The Indonesian Ministry of Primary and Secondary Education conducted an intensive training programme to prepare educators as competent trainers in coding and artificial intelligence. The workshop ran for six full days in Makassar, bringing together participants from across the country.
Participants gained technical grounding sufficient to teach basic coding and AI concepts to secondary students. Materials were structured for practical classroom translation — not theory alone, but hands-on practice and teaching strategies that work in real settings.
The atmosphere was measured and well-organised, with space for discussion and peer exchange. The goal was straightforward: to broaden educator capacity across Indonesia, enabling teachers to introduce contemporary technology topics to students in ways that are accessible and sustainable.
